Job requirements:

Conduct and manage the processes for acquiring construction and facility services in support of Puget Sound regional requirements. Act as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier related activities and authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements. Provide supplier management leadership while working with internal business partners to develop procurement strategy and assure successful contract development, completion and closure. Guide major procurement decision making through analyses of industry data, capacity trends, costs, and market environment. Integrate requirements, develop requests for quotations and proposals, analyze supplier responses, negotiate and award contracts, and manage post-award supplier activities. Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers. Support special projects and assignments as needed. Serve as lead to peers and as spokesman for organization.

Experience in construction contracting and with construction industry. Requires extensive knowledge of supplier management processes and contract structure. Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service and product delivery. Must demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills. Leadership capabilities, positive attitude and ability to prioritize demanding workload. Flexibility and proven ability to work independently essential.

Prefer a bachelor's degree and 10 to 14 years' related work experience or a master's degree and 8 to 12 years' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
